Social Issue-CyberSquatting
There has been an increasing number of people getting famous by the use of the internet. The problem with this is not being able to determine whether they are providing their own personal views. It is so easy to reproduce someone's ideas of material and pass it off as your own. This ties in with cybersquatting. This essentially is using someone's name or ideas to make money yourself. An example is providing a celebrities name in the url, so when some searches that, it brings them to your website. In my opinion it is acceptable to use someone's name if you aren't making money. Also if you use someone's name in a tag on a youtube video it would be okay if it was because they videos are alike. I do this myself with my videos, but I am against trying to make money off of another's accomplishments.

What I learned...
I learned about the history of the internet. I was unaware of the reasonings behind the interenet. The presentation helped me understand what it took for the internet to get to where it is today.
1969- ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) designed to support military research -
in particular to withstand partial outages and still function. Financed by the U.S.Defense Department.
1972 - ARPANET is put into operation and presented to the public. Demand for networking quickly
spreads. Universities (Stanford Research Institute, University of California at Santa Barbara,
University of California at Los Angeles and the University of Utah) join the network.
1981 - ARPANET and CSNET (network of the Computer Science Researchers) are connected.
Development of the new transfer protocol TCP/IP.
1984- ARPANET is split into MILNET (for public military information) and ARPANET (for non-military
research).
1985- ARPANET becomes obsolete and is eliminated. The connection between many different networks,
communicating by means of TCP/IP, is called “The Internet.”
1986- 700,000 worldwide hosts online in the Internet with numbers doubling every 7 months. Commercial
users also increasing.
1995 - Nearly 4 million hosts and over 30 million academic, commercial, national and private users take
advantage of the Internet information.

Movie Review
"Let's Go Get Lost" this years release by Isenseven. Every year the crew puts out a new snowboard movie. Their films are not only innovativem but gorgeous to look out. I personally think their films rank high above any "Pro" film crew videos, such as standard films. This video not only blows your mind with amazingly creative snowboarding, but it is just pure fun to watch. The sound track is great and is shot in its entirety in full HD. If you are into snowboarding I recommend you check them out. isenseven.de

Buy an Ancestor Online...
This site lacks in credible information. There is a link in order for contact, but it is simply jsut an email. There is no address or other way of cantact. When I tried to select the about me, the link did not even work. Another flaw in the site is there is no way to actaully purchase and Ancestor. Everything is either sold out, or the "HOT DEALS" have random numbers next to the item, but no way of selecting it. This is with out a doubt a gimmick because there is no way to purchase a famous dead person. There warranties are fake and the site shows no recent sign of updated information. Most of the links just bring you back to the main page, so checking crediblity is unrealistic.
